Historic Hotel
This hotel has been Mayfair Village's pride since early 19th century. It started as an offshoot of Grillion's hotel containing 2 houses owned by the Duke of Westminster. It was renovated into its own and formally opened in 1897 as The Coburg. It was renamed during the World War I to The Connaught to commemorate Queen Victoria's son, Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn. In 1940, French President General Charles de Gaulle was a resident at the hotel. In 1970s, Ralpha Lauren once visited the hotel and was enamored by the woodwork on the staircase. He built a replica and installed it in his store in New York. Royalties frequented the hotel, in late 20th century, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles were visitors.

The breakfast room also receives deserved praise for its gorgeous setting, which works perfectly to enhance the experience. Additionally, the location of the hotel is considered the best in London, which only adds to the appeal of the Michelin star restaurant responsible for serving breakfast.
