After removing public houses and several cottages, the path was clear for Jeremy Goring's great-grandfather, Otto, and it is to build the last grand hotel from the Edwardian era, The Goring. It was finished on March of 1910. The inside is beautifully furnished with antiques and further enhanced by the Goring Gardens, one of the largest private gardens in London.
