The OUTRIGGER Kaua'i Beach Resort & Spa is located in a prime spot close to the airport and directly on the beach. Guests loved the convenience of being centrally located on the island, while still being away from the busier areas. The resort is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including the beach and mountains. Even though it's close to the airport, guests rarely heard planes flying overhead. A bus stop and nearby shops, including a 7/11 and Walmart, made it easy for guests to get out and explore. The resort's pool area was a hit with guests and many commented on the well-landscaped property. All in all, the location was deemed exceptional and perfect for those wanting to explore the island of Kauai.

The Resort’s location is central to the rest of the island and beach access is steps from the pool area, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day hiking and exploring the island. The only downside seems to be the pool closing at 9 pm and the occasional unpleasant odor. Overall, the pools and the pool area are beautiful, well-maintained and guests loved spending time there.

Although there are no coffee or hot water options in the rooms or lobby, this minor hiccup didn't stop us from having a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend the OUTRIGGER Kaua'i Beach Resort & Spa for both adults and families with kids.
