Hotel Pere D'Urg 3000 presents a mixed yet generally favorable impression among guests, largely excelling in its value proposition but falling short in some aspects that are commonly expected from a three-star establishment. The overwhelming consensus highlights the hotel as offering excellent value for money, making it one of the best choices in Andorra for budget-conscious travelers. Guests repeatedly commend the quality-price ratio, noting it as very good or even superb.
One of the standout elements of the hotel is its staff. Guests consistently praise the receptionists and waitstaff for their attentiveness and exceptional service, emphasizing that the warm and professional behavior of the staff significantly enhances the overall experience.
However, the hotel does have some notable drawbacks. It is frequently described as outdated with multiple reviews mentioning the need for better maintenance and upkeep. The facilities and decor do not align with contemporary standards for a three-star hotel and some guests feel it resembles more of an old pension than what would traditionally be expected for its rating. The basic breakfast offered is considered adequate but nothing exceptional.
While it serves as a humble and well-maintained place for its price range, the general consensus is that it does not fully meet the three-star criteria with some reviewers suggesting it might better fit a two-star classification. Despite these criticisms, the hotel’s affordability and friendly staff make it a practical choice for travellers seeking economical accommodation in Andorra.
