Overall, the Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach, an Ascend Collection Hotel is a great choice for a beach vacation. The hotel boasts a fantastic location with breathtaking views and pleasant weather. While some guests found the facilities and services to be overpriced for a three-star hotel, most guests appreciated the value for money. Some guests did encounter issues with broken toilets, unclean rooms and tiny elevators, but these were not common complaints. The limited room cleaning protocol and additional charges for chairs and resort fees were also a disappointment for some guests. However, the hotel's beautiful surroundings and great location make it a great choice for those seeking a beach holiday.

Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach offers an experience that some guests feel falls short of its 4-star billing. Guests have noted that the hotel's facilities and services might align more with a 3.5-star rating. On the positive side, the hotel staff is recognized for their very kind and welcoming attributes, enhancing the overall guest experience. However, many reviews mention that the hotel is on the expensive side with several guests indicating that the price-performance ratio does not justify the premium prices paid. While the hospitality is commendable, the consensus suggests that the hotel's claim of being a 4-star establishment might not fully meet expectations.
