There's an excellent outdoor pool that's heated to the perfect temperature and always clean, as well as a hot tub to soak your worries away. Although the bar by the pool was closed, the staff went above and beyond to make your time there special. You'll have everything you need at your fingertips since the gym and pool are all within an easy walk from your room. While some guests were not impressed with the pool and found it quite cold despite the heating, others loved it and found it to be a perfect spot for a dip. One guest even stated that the pool was "angenehm warm" (pleasantly warm). The only downsides were that the hot tub was closed and one guest experienced blaring music from a wedding playing into their room. Overall, The Ranch at Laguna Beach has a great pool and other amenities that make it a reasonable hotel, but it may be too expensive for some travelers.
