Hotel & Spa Golden Barcelona features an outdoor swimming pool that stands out for its high quality and pleasant ambiance. The pool's spaciousness and the lovely views it offers have been appreciated by many guests, alongside the convenience of its accessibility until 11 PM with some reports indicating it's available 24/7. The pool area is described as a serene and relaxing spot, making it perfect for unwinding.

However, while the pool and its facilities have great potential, several reviews mention cleanliness issues. At times, the pool has been reported as dirty with some guests describing the water as having a rotten odor or a greenish bottom. Although the staff is attentive and the outdoor pool is generally well-maintained, these occasional lapses in cleanliness have prevented some guests from using it to its fullest advantage.

Despite these concerns, the pool remains a significant draw for the hotel, offering a tranquil experience when in optimal condition and the overall ambiance of the pool area adds a positive aspect to the stay at Hotel & Spa Golden Barcelona.

The pool area is noted for having appropriate arrangements to maintain a comfortable distance between guests, enhancing the overall sense of tranquility.

While there are multiple pools, some guests have pointed out that the existing large pool was temporarily closed, but it was reopened after feedback was given, demonstrating responsive customer service. La Mer Hotel offers a unique pool experience, seamlessly integrated with the lush surrounding vegetation. Although the pool is described by some as being on the smaller side, its charming design draws attention, resembling a Roman bath or a lovely stone basin, which adds to its appeal. Guests have compared its appearance to a tranquil pond, enhancing the serene atmosphere of the hotel gardens. Despite its modest size, visitors find the pool more than sufficient for a refreshing dip amidst the picturesque setting of the farmhouse. However, it's worth noting that the water can be on the cooler side, so checking if the pool is heated may be beneficial for those sensitive to temperature. Overall, it is appreciated for its aesthetic and calmness, fitting perfectly within the verdant landscape of the property.
