The hotel is ideally located for those looking to explore the stunning countryside and go on lovely walks nearby, especially as it is situated right in the middle of Kington, making it an ideal location for walkers. Additionally, its location is superb for those walking Offa's Dyke path or looking to explore Hergest Ridge. The hotel is well-situated for both the town and for walks outside of Kington, offering guests easy access to their desired destinations. Guests also appreciate the separate building and quietness of the hotel, as well as the easy parking and friendly staff. Overall, the Burton Hotel is a great base for a Herefordshire stay and a brilliant location for a short break, providing guests with a convenient and affordable option.

The spa/leisure facilities were excellent and almost empty during our visit, making for a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Access to the leisure center, including the pool and Jacuzzi, is included for hotel guests. The spa was the crowning glory of the hotel with a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. For those seeking a little more indulgence, the Cloud 9 facilities were very enjoyable. Overall, the spa and pool were a great added bonus to our stay and the quality of the rooms and helpful staff made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

However, some guests felt that the chlorine level in the pool was quite high and the temperature on the cooler side. Despite this, many guests enjoyed soaking themselves in the heated pool. The lovely pool, spa and hot tub with modern amenities make it an attractive place for both adults and children. Though some guests were disappointed that the pool area was hindered by children while others found it as an added bonus. Regardless, the pool was described as superb and amazing by most guests who made good use of it during their stay.
