Location
Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa's location is something that guests rave about. Many describe it as a beautiful place to visit with lovely and nice settings. The hotel is surrounded by beautifully kept grounds, rural surroundings and woodlands that give the location a peaceful feeling. Visitors find it easy to locate the hotel, making it convenient. Overall, the venue is a lovely one situated in a beautiful setting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

Breakfast
The guests at Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa were absolutely raving about the food, specifically the evening meal and breakfast. The quality of the food in the hotel's Bistro was described as excellent and delicious. However, some guests were disappointed with the breakfast, as it was expensive at £20 per person and not much was available. Some even remarked that their plates were cold and not warmed, which was a letdown at that price. On a positive note, those who did enjoy breakfast mentioned the lovely Full English Breakfast, although one guest did comment that the black pudding portion was tiny. Despite some hiccups, the food was still described overall as incredible and well-worth the cost, though some guests did have to wait a long time to receive their orders. It's worth noting that breakfast was not included in the room rate, so guests should plan accordingly if they want to have breakfast at the hotel.

Dinner
Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa offers a dining experience that is a mixed bag according to guests. Some have raved about the dinner, which they describe as amazing or exceptional with delicious food executed perfectly. The menu options are impressive, but some found the limited choices disappointing with nothing they really liked. One guest remarked it was standard fare. The dinner can be expensive and some ended up paying the same for their meal and breakfast as they did for their room. Other guests were unable to secure dinner or snacks due to the closure of the kitchen or the difficulty of getting a cup of tea or coffee. Service at the bar and in the restaurant was subpar and the restaurant has lost some of its dining flair, one guest noted. The Orangery and the Brasserie 1593 were two standout venues for dining. Overall, while the dinner was nice, there were inconsistencies in the quality, service and overall experience.

Rooms
Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa is a lovely venue, situated in beautiful grounds with a stunning building design. The beauty of the hotel's exterior is matched by the interior design of the rooms, which are well appointed and beautifully decorated. Some guests reported that their rooms were a little tired and could do with some updating, but overall they were comfortable and clean. The Lord Cullen room was noted as being super with a fantastic bed, whilst other guests reported that their rooms were lovely and comfy. The hotel could improve on the cleanliness of some of its rooms with mentions of grubby carpets and dust, but once addressed, guests found their surroundings to be clean, quiet and spacious. Some rooms were cramped, whilst others were spacious - with some guests commenting on the lack of a bath in their smaller rooms. However, the bathroom in our room was clean but could benefit from grouting and seal replacement. A few guests had to swap rooms, as there was a smell of smoke or no TV remote present. Additionally, some rooms were not serviced until requested, but once done, guests found the service excellent. Overall, the rooms at Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa are nice and offer a comfortable stay, but there are areas for improvement.

Cleanliness
Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa is a beautiful, immaculately presented hotel with a very clean spa and pool facilities. However, some guests have noted that the cleaning standard may not be up to scratch with a few dead flies on the window sills, mouldy silicon under the tap and water ingress. There were also reports of a room being a little dusty around the legs of the furniture and dead bugs found in the lights. However, inside the hotel was generally very clean and comfortable with the exception of a few areas.

Staff
Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa is a beautiful historical building worth visiting, where you can enjoy lovely food served by friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast staff is particularly lovely, while the receptionist and Sophia are standout team members known for being helpful and friendly. The hotel staff is well-trained, professional and attentive – although some guests did experience poor service and noticed that some staff members could use additional training on manners and basic services. COVID regulations were not always strictly followed and communication on a few occasions was an issue. Despite these minor hiccups, the team at Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, handling issues well and making guests feel at home.

Spa
If you're looking for a luxurious spa experience in beautiful surroundings, Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa could be the perfect destination for you. With access from inside the hotel, you'll be able to immerse yourself in the lovely, modern spa facilities which have been described as outstanding and sensational. The pool has been praised for its temperature, but do note that masks are required to enter. The spa is small and can get a bit crammed for some, but the facilities are nice and clean. The staff are described as friendly, helpful and welcoming, although some guests mentioned that the therapists weren't quite up to scratch. If you're a spa enthusiast, it's worth noting that some reviewers thought the spa facilities were below expectations for the price. Nevertheless, Rushton Hall Hotel and Spa provides the perfect place for relaxation with good facilities and lovely surroundings.
