Former Castle Bed & BreakfastThis castle was built as a stronghold in the 12th century for the lords of Loudun. In the Hundred Years' War, the castle was taken by the English. It was largely destroyed in the French Revolution. In 1932, it was destroyed by fire. Thanks to the an online community and their warm hearts, almost 2 million euros was raised to restore the castle's walls. Standing at the heart of French Pynerees, the castle can be access through winding roads of stone streets and views of lush vegetation.
