Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Congress Hotel Weimar by Mercure is a great stopover for travelers exploring Thuringia, thanks to its prime location close to the A4 highway. The hotel offers a picturesque location with beautiful hiking trails just outside the hotel. The breakfast buffet is extensive and enjoyable with plenty of variety for every taste, although some guests find it expensive. The hotel's dinner offerings are mixed with some guests enjoying the quality of food while others feel the limited buffet options are not worth the high price. The hotel's rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with modern amenities; however, some guests have reported cleanliness issues and feel the furniture is outdated. The staff is friendly and attentive and the hotel is child-friendly with a dedicated playroom. The wellness area is well-maintained and the indoor pool has received positive reviews although some guests have found it too cold. Overall, Congress Hotel Weimar by Mercure offers a comfortable stay for travelers on a budget who prioritize location and amenities like parking, a swimming pool and child-friendly facilities.
