The Clarendon Royal Community offers a mixed experience for travelers. Visitors noted that the hotel provides great value for money, serving well as a reasonable stopover for those passing through. However, the facilities and services are basic, drawing some comparisons to a student hostel rather than a typical hotel. The rooms tend to be on the smaller side, with some guests describing them as incredibly small. Despite these limitations, guests mentioned that everything functioned adequately during their stay.
Some aspects of the hotel, such as the lift, appeared dated, and there was a suggestion of confusion due to a recent name change. Potential guests should also be aware that the hotel may cater to other services, which impacts its presence on booking platforms. Overall, while the hotel delivers adequately within a tight budget, expectations should be managed especially given the expressed disappointment from some who anticipated a more aligned three-star experience and services like a 24/7 reception.
