The Windmill Inn - Whitby garners mixed reviews with several guests noting positive aspects such as a pleasant atmosphere, good pub, fantastic staff and beautiful food. The reasonably priced and varied selection of drinks add to the overall appeal. The inn offers a quiet and peaceful environment, which many guests appreciated.
However, there are several areas where the inn falls short. Some guests were not pleased with the shared toilet and shower facilities, describing them as basic and lacking in value for the money paid. The chalets were reported to be quite cold overnight and the availability of car parking is limited, often occupied by workmen using the bar. Additionally, there were instances of rooms having no water on arrival and no opening windows during hot weather.
Overall, while the inn has a number of commendable features, improvements in facilities and services would enhance the guest experience.
