Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
Nestled amidst the lush tropical jungle, the Princesa de la Luna Ecolodge offers a swimming experience that's truly one with nature. The pool, situated down a slope and beneath the property, provides a serene and unique setting, surrounded by the forest and close to a natural waterfall. This natural pool is often described as lovely and beautiful, underscoring its harmony with the environment. Many guests appreciate the refreshing freshwater directly from the stream and the natural, forested backdrop that enhances the experience.
However, accessing this pool can be challenging due to its remote location and the steep, unlit pathways leading down to it. While the setting of the pool holds much potential for a magical experience, several reviews highlight concerns about the pool's maintenance. At times it was reported as dirty, rundown and on the verge of being overgrown, deterring guests from utilizing it fully.
Despite the need for upkeep and the distant location, the pool’s integration with the jungle setting is often praised, making it a distinct and memorable part of the ecolodge. The accommodation's large, picturesque grounds and natural features add to the charm, even if the overall facilities hint at a need for renovation. Visitors also enjoyed communal dining experiences, featuring fresh local ingredients from the lodge’s gardens, enhancing the allure of this eco-friendly retreat.
