The Barn Hotel & Spa has mixed reviews regarding its three star rating, facilities and services. Some guests were disappointed with the tired and dated appearance of the hotel, stating it needs some TLC and a change of beds to become a four star. Others found it to be good value for money overall, but more of a 1 star than a 3. The room decor was also described as run-down in some areas. Some guests were dissatisfied with the mediocre facilities for a room costing £100 per night and stated it felt more like a BnB than a hotel. However, others found it passable and adequate for a low budget hotel or a one night stay. There were mixed opinions, but overall it seems that the hotel may benefit from some upgrades and improvements to meet guest expectations.
