Location

La Mer Resort Spa Crete is a modern and chic hotel ideally located on the main road with easy beach access. While some guests mention that the hotel is somewhat isolated and a rental car is needed to reach nearby cities or restaurants, others find the location excellent and targeted destinations are max one hour distance from La Mer. The location on the sea and the mountain nearby add a big plus to the landscape. The private beach and the view from pool/beach chairs are also highlighted by guests. Although the area is relatively far from the airports and walking distance is not really an option, there are plenty of other restaurants within a short drive. The hotel is perfect if traveling by car and driving distance to Chania, Heraklio, Elafonisi and Lagoon is good. However, some guests find the location uncomfortable without a rental car and the access road can be dangerous. Also, the beach is unfortunately partly rocky and there is no sandy beach nearby. Overall, guests enjoy the peaceful and beautiful location of La Mer Resort Spa Crete.
