Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Ramada by Wyndham Leeds East receives considerable praise for its excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms and highly accommodating staff. Situated just off the M1, it is ideal for travelers heading north or south with Leeds City Centre only a 15-minute drive away and easy access to various transport options. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere despite its location within a motorway service station, along with nearby green spaces and lakes for peaceful walks. The presence of a variety of dining options in the surrounding area, ample free parking and dog-friendly policies further contribute to the hotel’s popularity, especially for those attending local events or traveling with pets.
The rooms stand out for their spaciousness, comfort and cleanliness with many guests highlighting the modern design, well-maintained condition and excellent sound insulation. Beds are repeatedly mentioned for their comfort, ensuring restful nights. The friendly and helpful staff consistently enhance the overall guest experience with their welcoming demeanor and efficient service.
While the breakfast experience elicits mixed reviews, many guests appreciate the variety and value of the hot food items, despite some noting issues with temperature and replenishment. Dinner at the hotel offers a decent menu and benefits from nearby restaurant options, although some improvements in service and food quality are suggested. On-site dining is seen as convenient but occasionally overpriced compared to nearby alternatives.
Praise for cleanliness is prominent with many guests noting the spotless condition of rooms and common areas. However, a few report lapses in housekeeping standards, signaling a need for more consistent practices. Positive mentions of amenities such as free parking and family-oriented features, including spacious family rooms and a play area, further add to the appeal, making it a popular choice for families.
Wi-Fi service, while praised by some, receives mixed feedback with some reporting connectivity issues. The gym, though equipped with good options, is noted for being small and sometimes in need of updates. The parking experience is highly rated with ample, secure and easily accessible spaces.
Overall, the Ramada by Wyndham Leeds East is recognized for its strategic location, clean and comfortable accommodations and friendly staff, offering good value for money and making it a solid choice for a range of travelers, whether visiting for business, leisure or family occasions.
