The hotel is generally very clean and well-maintained with exceptional hygiene and Covid protection measures taken by the staff. Speaking of which, the staff at Taj Bengal is incredibly friendly, courteous and attentive, going above and beyond to exceed expectations and make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. The pool at the Taj Bengal received mixed reviews, but overall, the hotel is considered the best 5-star hotel in Kolkata by many guests, offering value luxury and the standard expected of a flagship hotel.
