Palazzo Esedra is highly praised for its strategic location in Naples, ideal for both football enthusiasts and business travelers. Its proximity to the Diego Armando Maradona stadium and accessible public transport options, including the Campi Flegrei metro station, makes it an excellent base for attending events and exploring the city. The hotel's location, outside the heavy traffic yet close enough for a quick trip to the city center, further enhances its appeal. While some guests noted reservations about the area's ambiance, the overall sentiment is positive, emphasizing its convenience and tranquil neighborhood.
The breakfast experience at Palazzo Esedra receives mixed feedback. Many guests appreciate the high-quality, abundant offerings with a variety of sweet and savory items, fresh products and good service in a pleasant atmosphere. However, some guests feel the breakfast lacks variety and does not meet four-star standards, citing the absence of hot dishes and limited vegetable options. Issues like old croissants and queues at the coffee machine are also mentioned. Despite these critiques, the breakfast is generally considered decent and enjoyable, albeit with room for improvement.
Dinner at the hotel also garners mixed reviews. While some guests praise the restaurant for its good and inexpensive food, others highlight slow service, lack of menu variety and the quality of dishes comparable to a school cafeteria. Despite these criticisms, the overall dining atmosphere is relaxing with options to unwind at the hotel restaurant and bar.
The rooms at Palazzo Esedra are frequently complimented for being spacious, modern and elegantly designed with comfortable furnishings and luxurious bathrooms. Cleanliness standards are generally high, though some inconsistencies are noted, such as stained bedding and occasional unclean details. While most guests find the rooms comfortable and well-equipped, a few encountered smaller, cramped rooms not meeting their expectations.
Cleanliness across the hotel is highly commended despite some noted inconsistencies. The modern, immaculate facilities are appreciated, although issues like stained bedding, lack of daily towel replacements and unclean details in some areas are reported by a few guests. Nevertheless, the majority found the accommodation very clean and well-maintained.
The hotel staff at Palazzo Esedra receives widespread acclaim for their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. The reception team, housekeeping and concierge service are all highly regarded for their attentive and courteous nature, contributing significantly to a positive guest experience.
WiFi service at Palazzo Esedra sees mixed feedback with some guests enjoying reliable internet access while others experience issues like weak or fluctuating signals and complete unavailability at times.
Parking facilities are well-regarded with guests appreciating the private, secure and free parking available adjacent to the hotel. The ample and spacious lot, delimited by a barrier, adds to the convenience, making it an ideal choice for travelers with vehicles.
Regarding the beds, many guests find them comfortable, particularly the king-size and double beds. However, some note dissatisfaction with the quality of pillows and issues like double beds being two singles pushed together, detracting from the overall comfort experience.
While Palazzo Esedra attempts to present itself as a four-star hotel, it struggles to meet all the expectations associated with this rating. While the structure and service quality are lauded, inconsistencies in areas such as breakfast variety, room conditions and certain amenities prevent it from fully aligning with typical four-star standards.
For business travelers, Palazzo Esedra is noted as an excellent choice due to its strategic location near business venues and easy city access via public transport. The hotel's functional structure, high-quality cleaning services and courteous staff ensure a comfortable and efficient stay, providing valuable convenience for business professionals.
