Hotel Rutherbach offers an inviting and comfortable stay with its spacious and clean rooms that guests frequently praise. Many have described the rooms as large, featuring cozy and tasteful decor that makes the hotel feel more like home than typical hotel accommodations. The cleanliness of the rooms is consistently highlighted, with several guests noting the rooms are very clean, well-maintained, and furnished with modern and functional amenities. Guests enjoy the comfortable beds and the stylish bathrooms, contributing to a relaxing environment. The family-friendly nature of the hotel is evident in its personal touches and spacious apartments that can accommodate families comfortably. Additionally, there are some beautifully furnished rooms offering a warm atmosphere that complements the welcoming nature of the reception staff. While the hotel excels in room comfort and size, there are minor areas for improvement, such as noise from outside causing some disturbance for rooms facing the street. The breakfast offerings are noted for being small but satisfactory, although some guests mentioned missing certain items like eggs. Overall, Hotel Rutherbach pleases its visitors with ample room space, cleanliness, and a cozy, homely atmosphere, making it a suitable choice for both short and extended stays.

Beds

Hotel Rutherbach seems to receive a mix of opinions when it comes to its beds, but overall, comfort is a common theme. Many guests have enjoyed very comfortable beds with soft sheets, making for a cozy sleeping experience. The beds often accommodate families well due to their size, providing ample space for up to five people. The mattresses are frequently described as good, and the double beds earn praise for their comfort. However, some inconsistencies should be noted. A few guests have pointed out issues such as mattresses being worn out or leading to back pain, and some bed linens have been found with yellow sweat stains. The occasional comment mentions beds that made noises or were too hard, and pillows that might need replacing. Despite these drawbacks, the guestrooms overall appear to be spacious and adequately furnished, balancing simplicity with comfort. For those prioritizing bed comfort in their hotel stay, the majority of reviews suggest that Hotel Rutherbach generally provides a pleasant night's sleep.

Cleanliness

Hotel Rutherbach receives mixed feedback regarding its cleanliness from guests, though positive mentions prevail. The majority of guests highlight the hotel’s rooms as clean and cozy, ensuring a pleasant stay, with many describing them as tidy and comfortable. Despite occasional remarks about outdated decor or cluttered appearances, several reviews emphasize the satisfactory cleanliness throughout the premises. The bathrooms, generally clean, attract critiques concerning aging fixtures and occasional hygiene concerns like mold or dust. The hotel impresses with its familial atmosphere and favorable location, appealing especially to cyclists with its bike shed. While some aspects, like decorations and maintenance, suggest room for improvement, the friendly staff contribute positively to the overall experience. Wi-Fi

Hotel Rutherbach offers complimentary Wi-Fi as a part of its amenities, but guest experiences with the internet service have been varied. While some visitors have found the internet to be fast and usable, the majority of feedback highlights challenges with connectivity. Many guests have reported weak or nonexistent Wi-Fi reception, both in their rooms and around the hotel, which has been an inconvenience for those relying on internet access during their stay. There were also instances where the internet was completely down, and mobile reception did little to compensate for the lack of Wi-Fi. Although Wi-Fi is included in the price, potential guests with a strong requirement for reliable internet access might find its availability inconsistent.

Parking

Hotel Rutherbach offers guests a convenient and hassle-free parking experience, featuring various options that cater to different needs. These parking facilities are provided at no extra cost, enhancing the overall value of the stay. The hotel’s advantageous position near parking lot 10 Messe Essen is another noteworthy mention, adding further convenience for visitors attending events or seeking accessibility to the local attractions.
