The Fairmont Grand Del Mar has an exceptional staff who provide guests with great customer service. The staff are described as warmly gracious, polite and amazing and many guests feel that they receive personal care and attention. Although there are a few complaints about slow response times from pool staff and Amaya service and some guests describe stand-offish or rude valets, most guests have very positive interactions with the staff. Some even describe genuine conversations with them that are kind and caring. Overall, the staff of Fairmont Grand Del Mar is praiseworthy for their exceptional hospitality.
