Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club is known for its beautiful surroundings, making it a good choice for those looking for a decently priced stay. However, guests have mentioned that the hotel is distinctly average and needs a makeover. Despite this, the location is great and the staff are very attentive. Unfortunately, some reviewers have noticed that there is too much unnecessary plastic in the room, which can be a drawback. Providing a pot of coffee or tea on arrival would be a welcome improvement to the breakfast buffet.

The Ascott, a charming property, is a great value for money offering comfortable and clean accommodation. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, some guests felt that it was more like a dated Blackpool B&B. However, others found it to be superb and had everything they needed. While the continental breakfast disappointed a few guests with its poor selection of only cereal and toast, overall, it was considered good value for money.
