Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Lakeway Resort & Spa is set in a breathtaking location along Lake Travis, offering stunning lake views, especially at sunset. This serene atmosphere, complemented by roaming wildlife like deer and peacocks, makes it an ideal spot for a tranquil staycation. The resort combines beautiful natural surroundings with top-notch facilities, such as a three-tier infinity pool, and is conveniently located near Austin for easy access to city attractions.
Guests frequently praise the delightful breakfast buffet at the on-site T&R restaurant for its variety and enjoyable taste, although some feel the price could be more accommodating. Dinner experiences are mixed, with occasional praise for the food quality and service, yet some guests find the menu lacking and service inconsistent.
Rooms at the resort offer captivating lake views and are spacious and quiet, contributing to restful stays. While cleanliness is generally maintained well, some rooms show signs of aging and could use updates, as noted by a few guests. Housekeeping services are variable, with some rooms impeccably clean while others might face neglect.
Staff members at Lakeway Resort & Spa are often recognized for their exceptional service, with individuals such as Elvis, Kim, and Lori receiving special mentions for their dedication to guest satisfaction. Though minor issues with wait times occur, the staff's warmth and professionalism add significantly to the resort's charm.
The pool area is a standout feature, consistently praised for its aesthetic appeal and variety of amenities, including slides for children and a swim-up bar. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, Lakeway Resort & Spa's natural beauty, dedicated staff, and impressive facilities make it a memorable destination for guests seeking both relaxation and comfort.
