The Courtyard by Marriott New York JFK Airport is highly regarded for its prime location, being exceptionally convenient for travelers needing proximity to JFK Airport. The dependable, prompt shuttle service to the terminals enhances its appeal, making it an ideal choice for those with early morning flights or in need of a quick stopover. Cleanliness and an on-site restaurant are appreciated by guests, along with the exceptional service provided by the staff that significantly enriches the overall experience.
Breakfast offerings receive mixed reviews; while praised for good quality and variety, the limited options and higher cost, particularly for vegetarian choices, were points of contention. The inclusion of Starbucks coffee is seen as a notable perk, although some guests suggested a buffet breakfast to improve variety and inclusion. Dinner experiences also vary with guests appreciating good service and generous portions but noting limitations in food options and high prices.
Rooms generally garner positive feedback for their cleanliness and comfort with spaciousness and modern design being appreciated. However, issues such as signs of wear and tear, non-soundproof rooms and occasional maintenance problems indicate a need for updates and consistent upkeep. Cleanliness is mostly upheld throughout the hotel, though inconsistencies like threadbare towels and dusty rooms were reported. The staff's friendliness and efforts in maintaining cleanliness were widely recognized, enhancing the guest experience.
The hotel staff consistently receive high praise for their friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness with specific commendations for the front desk and shuttle service team. Despite occasional critiques, the general consensus is a high level of satisfaction with the hotel's team.
Parking presents some challenges with no free parking available and valet services being costly. The effective and frequent shuttle service is a plus, although improvements in parking areas and pick-up arrangements were suggested.
Lastly, the beds are frequently highlighted for their exceptional comfort, contributing to a restful sleep experience. Despite occasional issues with bed size and cleanliness, the overwhelmingly positive feedback on bed comfort underscores a restful and comfortable stay overall for most guests.

Four Points by Sheraton Flushing offers a compelling choice for travelers, balancing convenience and comfort in the heart of Chinatown, Queens. This hotel's advantageous location near Citi Field, LaGuardia Airport and public transportation makes it an excellent base for exploring New York City and its multiple attractions. Food enthusiasts will find many nearby dining options, particularly Chinese cuisine, enhancing their stay. Despite some initial concerns about the neighborhood's safety and limited multilingual support at the front desk, guests appreciate its accessibility, modern facilities and the quiet environment conducive to both business and solo travelers.
Guests laud the cleanliness of the hotel with rooms and common areas frequently mentioned for their impeccable condition. Modern, sleek decor and comfortable, cozy rooms enhance the overall ambiance. Although some rooms are noted to be on the smaller side, the spaciousness is still regarded positively, especially compared to typical New York City accommodations. The comfort of the beds, despite minor issues regarding size, is a highlight, consistently noted for providing a restful experience.
The staff's service stands out significantly, praised for their friendliness, helpful attitudes and professionalism. Specific staff members receive commendations for their exceptional service and housekeepers and shuttle drivers contribute positively to guests' experiences. While there's mention of occasional lapses in friendliness, these are exceptions rather than the norm.
For amenities, the gym and fitness facilities are well-maintained and equipped, meeting most guests' needs despite occasional closures. The parking service, although convenient and safe, receives mixed reviews due to its cost and occasional logistical issues.
Families find this hotel accommodating with a child-friendly environment and family room options, adding to their overall comfort. The pool is an added perk, providing a pleasant diversion. Business travelers also appreciate the hotel for its excellent professional facilities and conducive environment for short stays or one-night business trips.
However, breakfast falls short of expectations with complaints about the limited variety, monotony and quality. While morning tea and complimentary coffee in the lobby are small consolations, the lack of in-room microwaves and refrigerators further limits dining convenience. Dinner fares better with frequent praise for the ambiance and service, though the menu variety and food quality could benefit from improvements.
Overall, Four Points by Sheraton Flushing combines a convenient location with strong cleanliness standards and exceptional staff service, making it a highly recommended choice for both leisure and business travelers.
