In addition, the hotel appeared to be understaffed which led to delays in food service and replenishment and some guests found that their hot drinks never arrived. Despite these minor complaints, Knoll House is still a lovely spot and a great place to relax by the pool. Some guests suggested that the hotel could add more pool loungers for added comfort.

While the reasonably priced swimming pools were a hit with the kids, it would have been preferable to have free access to the outside pool. Despite some disappointment due to the need for paid access and booking, the swimming pools at Newlands Holidays are greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, it should be noted that the outside pool was closed on occasion. Overall, the pool facilities prove to be a popular attraction for guests.
