Located in a peaceful area with free, secure private parking, Best Western Le Vinci Loire Valley offers a tranquil retreat close to the heart of Amboise. The hotel’s human-sized setting makes it easy to navigate, providing comfort for all guests. For those looking to explore the city, it is well-placed with proximity to the center, allowing guests to reach Amboise on foot in about 10 minutes. However, it's worth noting that while some found the footpath to the city convenient, others mentioned it felt longer and could take up to 30 minutes with portions being narrow, steep and somewhat unsafe. The hotel features a wheelchair-accessible room, although the overall setup may not cater extensively to tourist needs. Some attention to bathroom facilities could enhance the experience further.

Hôtel Le Blason offers mixed accessibility features for guests with disabilities. Ground floor rooms are noted for their ease of access and general accessibility. Disabled parking is a convenient feature and the hotel's public transport connections are wheelchair accessible. The staff is frequently highlighted for their kindness and efforts to make the stay comfortable for guests with disabilities.
However, the hotel does have limitations. The absence of an elevator presents significant challenges, particularly for those needing to access upper floors. Guests have reported narrow, steep and sometimes poorly lit staircases, which can be tricky and even dangerous for those with mobility issues or the elderly. The hotel's bathrooms also present some minor issues, such as slippery showers and small bathtubs, which might not be ideal for everyone.
In summary, while the ground floor provisions and staff support make Hôtel Le Blason somewhat accessible, the lack of an elevator and other physical constraints may not make it the perfect choice for all guests with disabilities.
