The reviews for Intergroup Business & Design Hotel Ingolstadt suggest that guests found the hotel to fall short of the expectations associated with a four-star rating. Particular areas of concern mentioned include the absence of a fresh fruit salad, Greek food that was deemed unsuitable for a four-star establishment and complaints not being handled with the seriousness expected at this level. Cleanliness was another aspect highlighted for needing improvement. Many guests felt that the four-star rating was a misunderstanding and noted that certain amenities, such as bottled sparkling and still water, were missing.
Additionally, the breakfast experience was criticized for being of low quality and not meeting the standards of a four-star hotel. The breakfast room was considered too small and unsuitable with one review mentioning the downgrade of the usual breakfast system to a packed lunch format – all contributing to an experience that several guests felt did not align with a four-star standard. Overall, while the hotel may have some positive aspects, these shortcomings have left guests feeling that the rating does not accurately reflect the experience provided.
