The PLAZA Premium Darmstadt features a modern pool and wellness area that includes both an indoor and rooftop pool, alongside a sauna and a fun area for kids. Guests appreciated the clean and pleasant spa facilities with some highlighting the great ambiance that the pool and wellness sections offer. Free usage of these areas is a definite plus and the friendly service enhances the experience. However, there were multiple occasions where guests found the pool water to be colder than expected. Unfortunately, several guests experienced disappointment as the pool and wellness areas were frequently closed due to various reasons such as renovations, lack of staff or COVID-19 restrictions. These closures often left guests dissatisfied, especially when closures were unexpected and not communicated in advance. While the pool and wellness areas are undoubtedly a strong point when operational, prospective visitors should verify their availability beforehand.
