The hotel is lauded for its charm and historical architecture, attracting visitors seeking a blend of natural beauty and historical allure.
Guests enjoy an acclaimed breakfast experience, characterized by generous portions and fresh homemade delights such as brioche and banana cake. The buffet offers a wide variety and is often served on a terrace with a breathtaking river view, making breakfast a daily highlight. Hostellerie Les Griffons also excels in its dining offerings, with a talented chef creating inventive dishes set against the backdrop of a scenic terrace. Although some find the prices slightly high, the culinary experiences, from breakfast to dinner, are largely deemed worthwhile and memorable.
The accommodations are praised for their comfort and elegance, featuring large, cozy beds, and rooms with castle-like decor, including stone fireplaces and ancient roof structures. Although minor issues with cleanliness and room condition are noted, these are generally overshadowed by the beautiful location and friendly service.
