Haunted Hotels in Cook

Congress Plaza Hotel is certainly not for the faint of heart. The elevator regularly stops at floor 8, even when the button has not been pressed, while on floor 12 one of the doors has been barred from the outside for no apparent reason. A gloved hand has been seen sticking out of a wall and it is believed to belong to a construction worker who was buried behind it. Also, the ghost of a homeless person who was murdered at the hotel is also reported seen around its premises.
