Hotel Cibeles Resort offers a blend of convenience, comfort and tranquility, making it an attractive option for various types of travelers. Its prime location is a significant advantage, offering quick accessibility to the airport and the center of San Rafael de Heredia, while still providing a serene and private environment. Guests particularly enjoy the beautifully maintained large gardens and the well-kept swimming pool, offering ample space for relaxation.
The breakfast experience at the resort is generally positive with many guests appreciating the delicious, homemade offerings. However, it’s worth noting that breakfast isn't included in the room rate and is considered a bit pricey by some for what it offers.
The rooms at Hotel Cibeles are frequently praised for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. Essential amenities like microwaves, refrigerators and comfortable queen-sized beds contribute to the overall positive experience despite some comments about outdated decor and occasional musty smells.
Cleanliness at the hotel is consistently praised with both the rooms and the grounds being well-maintained. The attentive and friendly staff further enhance the guest experience, contributing to a warm and accommodating atmosphere.
The pool area is another highlight, featuring a clean and spacious pool surrounded by scenic gardens. While the pool sometimes has operational issues and closes early, it remains a popular feature among guests.
Overall, Hotel Cibeles Resort is lauded for its clean facilities, spacious rooms, beautiful environment and excellent service from the staff. Some areas like breakfast pricing, bed comfort and consistent cleanliness could benefit from improvement, but the resort stands out as a solid choice for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Heredia.
