The ibis Issy les Moulineaux "Val de Seine" hotel offers a strategically advantageous location with easy access to public transportation, facilitating straightforward journeys to central Paris and other significant sites. While the area is a bit distant from main tourist attractions, the proximity to tram and RER stations compensates, providing a quiet and safe residential environment. Nearby amenities such as markets, bakeries and restaurants add to the convenience. The hotel's private parking is also appreciated, especially for those arriving by car.
Guests have had mixed experiences with breakfast, though it is often described as delicious and hearty, featuring fresh pastries, cheeses, cereals, fruits, meats and a variety of beverages. While some consider it a bit expensive and occasionally lacking in replenishment, the overall quality and selection are generally praised, providing a substantial start to the day.
Dinner options are available but garner mixed reviews. Guests appreciate the convenience and quality during weekdays, particularly noting the excellent meat dishes. However, the restaurant’s weekend closure and focus on group bookings can be a drawback, alongside occasional inconsistencies in availability and preparation.
Rooms at the hotel are consistently described as clean, comfortable and well-maintained, though they are somewhat compact, which may pose a challenge for longer stays or families. Despite the limited space, the rooms are functional and equipped with necessary amenities, offering a quiet and restful experience. Cleanliness is a strong point with guests frequently describing the hotel as spotless and well-organized.
