The hotel is VERY dog friendly which is perfect if you're travelling with your pet - in fact, all the dogs stay in the same part of the hotel. The hotel grounds offer plenty of space for walking your pup, which we absolutely loved. However, a few guests mentioned that it was a bit of a walk from the exit to the dog area, so keep this in mind if you have a less active dog. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome during our entire stay. If you're looking for a clean, convenient and friendly hotel that accommodates your furry friend, Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel & Spa might just be the perfect place.
