Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Super 8 by Wyndham Ticonderoga receives positive reviews for its prime location, cleanliness, and accommodating staff. Situated near major conveniences such as Walmart and McDonald's, the hotel's location offers easy access to downtown Ticonderoga and local attractions like Fort Ticonderoga and hiking in the Adirondacks. Guests appreciate the hotel's peaceful surroundings, serving as an excellent base for exploring the charming New York region.
The hotel is lauded for its clean and comfortable accommodations. Rooms are often described as spacious, with updated features like hardwood floors and modern air conditioning units. Guests find the beds comfortable, enjoying a restful sleep supported by ample pillows and cozy bedding. The hotel provides essential in-room amenities such as fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, and LCD TVs, contributing to a convenient and value-for-money experience. The quiet environment paired with friendly and proactive staff enhances the overall guest experience, making it a solid choice for travelers.
While the breakfast offerings receive mixed reviews, many guests appreciate the simplicity and convenience of grab-and-go options available from 5 am. Although some suggest that an expanded variety and fresher options would improve the breakfast experience, the proximity to nearby restaurants provides alternative dining choices for those seeking more.
The hotel also receives praise for its dog-friendly policies, allowing guests to comfortably bring their pets along. The friendly and helpful staff are notably welcoming to both human and animal guests.
Despite some reports of slower Wi-Fi speeds and occasional bed comfort issues, the overall feedback leans positive, with many guests recommending Super 8 by Wyndham Ticonderoga for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location.
