Its serene location, while slightly away from downtown, remains easily accessible by car and even offers free parking, simplifying travel logistics. Guests appreciate the quiet surroundings and lovely views, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway. Although a 12-15 minute walk into town involves navigating a steep hill, the helpful owner often assists with rides to and from the train station, enhancing convenience for those without a vehicle.
The guesthouse shines with its breakfast offerings, which are frequently praised for their variety and value for money. Guests enjoy the self-service setup, allowing them the freedom to dine at their own pace without schedule restrictions. The breakfast includes freshly baked bread, milk, juice, eggs, cold cuts, butter, jams and cereals, contributing to a satisfying start to the day. While there are minor mentions of kitchen maintenance needing improvement, the cleanliness and quality of the food largely bolster the positive experience.
Rooms at Templar Secrets House are generally appreciated for their spaciousness and comfort. Many rooms feature balconies and private bathrooms and guests commend the large, clean areas with comfortable beds. Despite occasional issues with cleanliness in some rooms and a few complaints about outdated decor, the overall atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The combination of roominess and tranquility significantly enhances guests' comfort.
Cleanliness is a strong point with most reviewers highlighting the clean and comfortable conditions of the accommodations. Common areas and rooms are often described as immaculate and the calm ambiance further elevates the positive stay experience. However, some reviews suggest that better maintenance of bathrooms and kitchens would be beneficial.
