Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Aloft by Marriott Miami Aventura is widely praised for its prime location at the heart of Aventura's dynamic landscape. Guests appreciate its close proximity to Whole Foods, Target, myriad restaurants, Aventura Mall and major roadways, making it a convenient and vibrant spot for both leisure and activities. The area’s walkability, safety and tranquil environment, despite being amid bustling services and shopping centers, further elevate its appeal. The hotel’s comfortable and spacious rooms, in addition to the courteous and professional staff, make for a delightful stay. Extra amenities like parking facilities and nearby gyms and cafes add to the convenience, although some guests do critique the additional charges.
Regarding dining options, the breakfast offerings receive mixed reviews. While some appreciate fresh coffee and a few vegetarian choices, many feel that the breakfast falls short in variety and quality, often opting to eat at nearby restaurants instead. The need for more fresh fruit and hot choices was frequently mentioned, suggesting that there’s room for improvement in this area.
The rooms at the hotel are described as modern and attractively designed, ensuring comfort and cleanliness. Many guests find the rooms to be well-equipped with essentials like coffee and water and the high ceilings in some rooms add an airy feel. While there are a few isolated complaints about cleanliness, such as unclean carpets and occasional housekeeping misses, the overall consensus is favorable, emphasizing the quiet and restful ambiance.
Cleanliness in general is consistently highlighted as a positive feature. The property is well-maintained and the cleaning staff is often commended for their exceptional work. Some inconsistencies were mentioned, such as late room cleaning and occasional missed spots, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive impressions.
Staff at Aloft by Marriott Miami Aventura stand out for their friendliness, professionalism and accommodating nature. Guests frequently praise the exceptional front desk and maintenance teams, noting specific employees for their outstanding service. Although a few mentions of unfriendly front desk staff and language barriers exist, the majority of reviews commend the polite and committed nature of the hotel personnel.
The pool area at Aloft by Marriott Miami Aventura receives excellent reviews for its cleanliness, appealing design and heated pool, which is suitable for both adults and children. The availability of plenty of loungers and lounge furniture, along with morning yoga sessions and social activities, add to its attractiveness as a relaxation spot.
Parking, however, garnered mixed feedback. Though some appreciate the easy access via an adjacent garage, many find the $20 daily charge to be inconvenient. Issues with parking logistics like malfunctioning scanners and broken elevators were also noted. Despite these concerns, the overall positive aspects of the hotel still encourage guests to consider returning.
Lastly, the beds in the rooms are mostly praised for their comfort, contributing to a relaxing stay for many guests. Some did find the beds too soft or uneven, but these comments were in the minority.
Overall, Aloft by Marriott Miami Aventura offers a highly enjoyable experience with its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, friendly staff and attractive amenities, making it a preferred choice for many travelers.
