One of the most praised features is its exceptional location in the heart of Cannes. Positioned on the bustling Rue d'Antibes, the hotel is just a short walk from the famous La Croisette and nearby beaches, providing guests with easy access to shopping, attractions and public transport. This central yet tranquil position makes it an ideal base for exploring Cannes’ vibrant city center. Guests also commend the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are generally described as spacious, well-furnished and equipped with modern amenities, including comfortable, high-quality bedding. Bathrooms with large marble surfaces add an extra touch of luxury. Despite some mentions of smaller rooms and an ordinary feel, the majority of guests express satisfaction with their accommodation. Cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere are frequently noted. The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards with immaculate rooms and well-kept common areas adding to the overall comfort. Room service, particularly for breakfast, receives positive remarks for its cleanliness and efficiency. The staff at the Sun Riviera Hotel are a standout highlight. Guests consistently describe them as professional, polite and incredibly helpful. Specific commendations for individual staff members, like Anastasia at reception, emphasize the warm and family-like atmosphere that makes guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay. While the breakfast offerings have received mixed feedback, many guests enjoy the diverse and delicious selection, particularly appreciating the experience of dining in the hotel's charming garden. However, some did find the breakfast room small and the options somewhat limited for a 4-star hotel with a few considering the cost to be on the higher side. The hotel’s outdoor area, featuring a garden, pool and bar, offers a serene retreat. Though the pool is small and has faced some maintenance issues, it is generally viewed as a pleasant spot for relaxation. Parking at the Sun Riviera Hotel is another notable advantage. The private underground parking garage provides convenience and security with charging stations for electric vehicles also available. While some guests found the parking spaces a bit tight and the fees somewhat high, the overall convenience and security make it a valued feature. In summary, the Sun Riviera Hotel stands out for its prime location, clean and comfortable rooms and exceptional staff.
