Its position near the Grand Valira-Canillo ski station caters to ski enthusiasts, providing close proximity to the slopes. Guests appreciate the hotel's clean, comfortable, and well-kept rooms, alongside its varied buffet and excellent service from a friendly staff. However, potential visitors should be prepared for its somewhat remote setting. While the serene location is perfect for those who appreciate being off the beaten path, it could present challenges for those reliant on public transport or without a car, as access to nearby towns usually requires a drive or a substantial walk. High-quality ingredients and meticulous presentation contribute to an outstanding meal that rivals offerings at many five-star hotels. The addition of an omelette station and a focus on both "sweet" and "savory" selections ensure that no detail is overlooked. Attentive and friendly staff enhance the dining experience, making a morning meal at Hotel Roc Meler an exceptional start to the day.

Some guests have lauded the meals as fantastic, with the quality and variety exceeding their expectations. Highlights include particularly excellent dinners at the Irish Pub, known for its delicious offerings and lively atmosphere, which come highly recommended. Nevertheless, some guests have noted areas for improvement, such as the buffet's lack of variety and the limited options for main dishes. There are observations that the dinner can sometimes be sparse, with some disappointment over the absence of certain items by the end of service and the food occasionally being served on cold plates. Additionally, there is some concern about the cost, particularly when beverage options during dinner are not included in the meal plan. Overall, Hotel Roc Meler offers a varied dining experience that appeals to many guests with its impressive buffet spreads and well-received meals at the Irish Pub, though there are suggestions to enhance the variety and manage the value for money more effectively for an even better dining experience.

Hotel Roc Meler offers guests a generally positive experience when it comes to their WiFi service. Many visitors praised the internet connection for its impressive speed, with reports suggesting download and upload speeds nearing 100 Mbps. This fast and reliable connection has been appreciated by guests looking to stay connected during their visit. Guests have complimented the hotel for providing superb WiFi, which works well in most areas. While the internet service is typically efficient, there have been some instances noted where connectivity issues arise, especially in rooms and elevators. Repeated log-ins or resets can be necessary, and this occasional disruption might affect the ability to use the internet smoothly throughout one's stay. Overall, while there are some areas where the WiFi service at Hotel Roc Meler could improve, many guests have found it satisfactory and beneficial for their needs. The complementing factors like excellent reception and immaculate rooms create a welcoming environment that encourages guests to return.

Spa

The spa at Hotel Roc Meler has been a notable highlight for many guests, offering a tranquil and pleasant escape. The facilities include a pool, sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi, contributing to a wonderful après-ski experience. Described as clean, well-maintained, and relaxing, the spa invites guests to unwind and recharge. Despite some feedback about the water temperature being on the cooler side, patrons generally appreciate the high-quality amenities and excellent spa services, including massages that receive special praise. Guests have noted that access to the spa comes at an additional cost, typically around 10 to 13 euros per person, which some find a bit steep for the offerings, though others deem it worthwhile for a moment of relaxation. A reservation can often be required, and certain rules, like wearing a swimming cap and limited child access hours, are in place to maintain a calm environment. Overall, the spa receives positive recognition for its comfort, cleanliness, and the delightful staff, making it a recommended part of the Hotel Roc Meler's experience.

Gym

Hotel Roc Meler offers a gym that, while on the smaller side, impresses with its thoughtful design and utility. Guests have highlighted that despite its size, the gym is well-equipped, featuring a universal machine that allows for a comprehensive workout routine. Visitors appreciate the facility's cleanliness and the range of equipment available for a good workout. Although there is an additional fee for using the gym and spa, many find the pricing reasonable and consider it a worthwhile investment for the relaxation it provides. While some guests noted the gym could get hot, others found it to be a relaxing environment. Overall, the gym is considered a valuable amenity, appealing to both adult guests and families with children.

Pool

Hotel Roc Meler offers a serene haven for relaxation with its well-regarded pool and spa facilities nestled on a picturesque mountainside. The indoor pool is frequently praised for its cleanliness and beauty, featuring complementary amenities such as a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and hammam that delight many guests. Visitors note the pool's versatility catering to both adults and children, making it an enjoyable experience for families. While the inviting atmosphere of the pool is undeniable, its cool temperature is occasionally noted as being less ideal for a spa setting. However, a common issue raised by patrons is the additional charge required to access the pool and spa, which is often not clearly detailed beforehand. The extra cost for entry, along with fees for swim caps and slippers, is seen as an unfortunate detractor from the overall experience. Despite this, the pool area strikes a balance of tranquility with few visitors at times, offering a peaceful retreat for those who choose to indulge. The shared sentiment is that while the facilities are indeed lovely and worth experiencing, clearer communication on pricing and inclusivity could enhance the guest experience even further.

Parking

Hotel Roc Meler, situated amidst the scenic beauty of Andorra, has been noted in guest reviews for its challenging parking situation. While there are several paid parking options available, including an underground garage, parking spaces are generally limited and can be tight, causing difficulty for guests, especially those with larger vehicles. It is often recommended to reserve a parking spot in advance due to the scarcity of available spaces. Many guests have found that parking on the street is nearly impossible, necessitating the use of the hotel's paid facilities. The cost of parking is a common concern, with prices ranging from 10 to 18 euros per night, which some guests find expensive. Despite this, the convenience of having a guaranteed spot in a secure area seems to be the best option, as finding free parking nearby can be extremely challenging. This has led to a sentiment that the hotel could benefit from clearer communication about parking fees and availability when booking a stay. Overall, while Hotel Roc Meler offers some convenient paid parking solutions, the limited parking spaces and the cost associated with them are points that potential guests may want to consider when planning their trip to this mountain retreat.

Family

Hotel Roc Meler in Andorra stands out as an ideal choice for families seeking a memorable getaway. The hotel receives high praise for its family-friendly amenities and warm atmosphere, making it a preferred destination for families with children. Guests frequently highlight the excellent service provided by the staff, particularly noting their friendly and accommodating nature. The hotel offers diverse entertainment options for children, ensuring that little ones are well-occupied while parents can enjoy various amenities in peace. Although the spa can be crowded and noisy due to family visits during peak times, the overall experience remains positive, as many families express their intent to return for future stays. With a cozy ambiance, a welcoming English bar, and family-oriented facilities, Hotel Roc Meler provides an enjoyable environment for families to relax and have a good time together. Despite occasional noise in the corridors, the hotel successfully delivers a charming and pleasant family holiday experience.

4 Star

Hotel Roc Meler presents a charming ambiance with beautiful facilities and breathtaking views that guests appreciate. The staff is generally praised for their attentiveness and friendliness, notably Ernesto & Alex, who strive to enhance the guest experience despite management challenges. Some visitors noted that the establishment offers good value for the price, highlighting the hotel's satisfactory cost-benefit ratio. However, there are consistent observations about amenities and services that do not align with typical expectations of a four-star hotel. Guests frequently remarked that certain facilities like room service, air conditioning, fridges, and bathtubs, expected in hotels of this caliber, were noticeably absent or inadequate. The hotel's dining experiences, particularly the evening buffet, were described as average, lacking the flair anticipated in a four-star setting. There were mentions of separate charges for various facilities and services, which detracted from the overall experience. While some guests found the establishment to be very nice and a top choice, others expressed disappointment, feeling the hotel did not justify its four-star rating and suggesting it resembled more a three-star experience. Despite these mixed reviews, the hotel succeeds in delivering beautiful surroundings and commendable customer service, though it faces several opportunities to improve in aligning with four-star expectations.

Accessible

Hotel Roc Meler receives commendation for its efforts in accommodating guests with disabilities. Visitors particularly appreciate the attentive and kind reception staff who make every effort to support those with reduced mobility.
