Villa Aretusi is highly regarded for its strategic and tranquil location, blending accessibility with a serene, green setting. Visitors frequently highlight its excellent connectivity to both Bologna's city center and the airport with convenient public transportation and nearby highways, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Guests enjoy a decent breakfast featuring high-quality croissants and fresh coffee often in a tranquil garden setting. However, there is a consensus that the offerings could be more varied and substantial, particularly for a 4-star hotel standard. Dinner options, in contrast, receive unanimous praise with two on-site restaurants, especially the Bolognese Trattoria, drawing acclaim for its top-notch regional cuisine, excellent service and pleasant ambiance.
Room accommodations at Villa Aretusi offer basic comfort with many guests noting their cleanliness and coziness. While the rooms are well-maintained and spacious, some complaints about noise, outdated furniture and inadequate air conditioning suggest room for improvement. Nonetheless, the hotel excels in cleanliness with spotless rooms and well-kept common areas contributing to a positive overall experience.
The staff at Villa Aretusi are frequently lauded for their friendliness, professionalism and willingness to assist guests, elevating the overall hospitality experience. Named individuals like Daniela and Federico at the reception have significantly contributed to favorable impressions with their exceptional service.
Parking facilities at Villa Aretusi are also commendable with secure, spacious and conveniently located parking areas that guests find stress-free and accommodating. Additionally, the beds are generally praised for their comfort, although there are occasional mentions of hard or uncomfortable mattresses and pillows.
Wi-Fi service, however, is inconsistent with some guests reporting strong and reliable connections, while others experience poor and unreliable signal strength, indicating an area in need of enhancement.
Overall, Villa Aretusi offers a well-rounded and enjoyable stay marked by its excellent location, clean accommodations, commendable dining and standout service, though with room for improvements in breakfast variety and Wi-Fi connectivity.
