The hotel is situated right on the lake, providing guests with amazing views and the opportunity to take long walks in nature. The renovated lake house is particularly stunning, offering a rustic, country living experience. Despite feeling isolated, the location is actually quite close to all the attractions on the island and suburban resources. Guests particularly enjoyed the private patios with lake views and many commented on the excellent experience they had with both the Lodge and the Lake. The staff, facilities and location were all praised and visitors loved the easy access to restaurants on location. Overall, the beautiful scenery and top location make Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge a great place for a relaxing getaway.

Breakfast
The breakfast at Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge is a must-try! Guests can enjoy breakfast at the on-site restaurant, Bullfrogs Bare & Grille or at Sydney's Restaurant where the breakfast buffet is wonderful with a good selection of common choices. Reviews mention the food was delicious, top-notch, outstanding, spectacular, fabulous and great! Those who enjoyed the all-inclusive buffet breakfast were pleased with the variety and fresh waffles made to order. The restaurant and breakfast staff was amazing, customer-oriented, polite, attentive and caring. However, some guests noted that they were charged an extra fee for breakfast or that breakfast wasn't included. Some mentioned that the breakfast was average or could have had more options. Despite these minor issues, guests generally agree that the breakfast experience exceeded their expectations and was one of their favorite meals during their stay.

Dinner
When it comes to dining at Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge, there are mixed reviews. While some guests found the seafood buffet to be overpriced and underwhelming, others enjoyed the good menu at Bullfrogs restaurant, which was by far their favorite dining option on the property. In fact, the Bullfrog Bar and Grill was a hit with many guests who ate there several times and were completely satisfied each time. The food quality was admittedly mediocre for some, but others enjoyed their dinner by the pool at one of the on-location restaurants. If you're looking for late night food options, you might be out of luck, but otherwise, the Bullfrog Grill comes highly recommended.

Rooms
The Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge offers guests plenty of comfortable rooms with beautiful views overlooking the lake. Many rooms come equipped with a cozy fireplace and a small patio with seating. Some guests did note that the structure is made of wood, making certain rooms a bit noisy. Overall, the rooms are clean and spacious. Villas, in particular, were mentioned as being nice and comfortable, although a few guests felt they were showing their age. While some reviewers did feel that the rooms were outdated, this was outweighed by numerous positive comments about the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Some guests did encounter issues with pests or unpleasant odors in their room, but these were not common complaints. Additionally, a few guests experienced noise issues from rowdy children or furniture moving in rooms above them. Overall, Lanier Islands offers a highly enjoyable stay with wonderful amenities and well-maintained grounds.

Beds
When it comes to the beds at Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge, the reviews are mixed: some guests found them uncomfortable or too firm, while others found them super comfortable and cozy. Some reviewers mentioned finding someone else's hair in the bed or having worn-out pillows that made it difficult to sleep, but others praised the comfortable mattresses and cozy villa accommodations. Overall, it seems that the beds at this hotel may vary in comfort depending on personal preference, so be sure to check with the front desk about room options when making your reservation.

Cleanliness
The Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge received mixed reviews regarding its cleanliness. Some guests were disappointed with issues such as spider webs, bugs and unclean bathrooms, while others praised the spotless rooms and impeccable grounds. The staff were frequently mentioned as being exceptional and friendly. However, some guests suggested that the facility could benefit from a deep cleaning and better maintenance of furniture and patio equipment. Despite some negative comments, overall, the majority of guests enjoyed their stay and loved the resort's beautiful and clean surroundings.

Staff
The Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge is a beautiful resort located in a stunning location with an exceptional staff. The staff are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for every guest. The Bullfrogs Bar & Grille and LandShark Bar & Grill have amazing food and great service. The front desk staff and manager are also very friendly and ready to resolve any issues that guests may have. Joseph at the front desk is possibly the nicest kid and most helpful staff member. The customer service is excited and professional, treating guests like kings. Family
Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge is a great family-friendly resort perfect for a time well spent with family. The access to numerous activities like the Margaritaville and snow island is convenient and easily reached. The resort is also conveniently located in one location making it easier for families. The kiddie pool section is missing though, which could have been an added attraction. The access to the backyard is great for pet owners and the resort is also great for kids given the plenty of activities available. Although there were some complaints about children running up and down the halls early in the morning, the friendly staff ensures that your stay is worth it. While there may not be a lot of activities for kids, the cute and cozy resort is perfect for small families, including those with pets. Overall, a great experience that will make you want to go back with your entire family!

Golf
The Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge is a golfer's paradise! The golf courses near the hotel offer stunning views and are definitely worth checking out. However, be aware that during peek times, you may need to wait for a golf cart. The golf cart rental process could be smoother and the hourly rate is quite expensive. To avoid any inconvenience, it's recommended to book a golf cart in advance of your stay. But once you're out on the course, the view is simply awesome! And if you need a break from golf, the resort offers a range of other activities including a refreshing lake, a relaxing pool and plenty of restaurants on site. While some reviewers found the golf course to be a little hilly, they still enjoyed their experience overall. Just be aware that not all amenities are accommodating to handicapped guests. On the upside, guests have noted that the Golf cart rental staff are very nice and helpful.
