Hotel Amadeus ROYAL Berlin presents a mixed experience that has sparked diverse reactions among travelers regarding its three-star rating. While some guests feel it falls short of expectations for its star category, others find it suitable for short stays, appreciating the spaciousness of the rooms. The hotel offers an enticing option for budget-conscious travelers, with a price-performance ratio that stands out in Berlin. However, some visitors have noted that the facilities appear dated and in need of renovation, with certain amenities lacking. Despite these criticisms, the low prices for a double room can make it a viable choice for a brief visit, especially when cost is a primary consideration. Overall, while not meeting everyone's standards for a three-star hotel, it remains an economical option for those focusing on affordability.

Hotel Kubrat an der Spree is a solid choice for those who don't mind slightly dated facilities. The location is nice and the price-performance ratio is good. While the hotel could use some renovations both inside and out, it still provides a clean and comfortable stay. The breakfast is adequate for a three-star hotel, but not exceptional. Some guests have mentioned that the hotel doesn't meet their expectations for a three-star rating and that they have stayed in better hotels of the same rating. However, overall, it's a decent mid-range option for those looking to explore Berlin.
