While staying at the Maritim Hotel Am Schlossgarten, guests with disabilities or mobility issues may encounter a mix of positive and less-than-ideal experiences regarding accessibility. The hotel offers accessible amenities, including some rooms and entry points that are wheelchair accessible. Additionally, the staff is accommodating, providing a wheelchair upon request and ensuring certain rooms are easy to access, especially those suitable for families with young children.
However, several accessibility challenges remain. The absence of an elevator to reach the family rooms, which are located in the basement or lower floors, can pose significant difficulties. Guests noted the need to carry strollers down stairs and the impracticality of stepping into bathtubs for those with limited mobility. There are no accessible toilets in the entrance area and certain features, such as shower trays in bathtubs, are not ideal for individuals with disabilities or older guests.
The accessibility to the pool and other areas can be limited during renovations and long paths without elevator access might be inconvenient for families. Despite some facilities being equipped to support guests with disabilities, the overall accessibility may not be seamless for everyone, especially given the layout and lack of elevators to certain key areas.

Hotel Platzhirsch offers commendable accessibility features for guests with disabilities. The rooms are tailored to accommodate wheelchair users, boasting threshold-free showers with shower seats and electrically adjustable beds without steps. Additionally, emergency call buttons are installed in the rooms for enhanced safety. The hotel provides rooms specifically designed to be perfectly suitable for wheelchair users. However, some areas could be improved; the room service is only accessible via QR code and the regulation of room temperature might not be straightforward. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall accessibility of Hotel Platzhirsch remains a strong point, particularly for wheelchair users.
