Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Fasthotel Saint-Amand-Montrond Orval is lauded for its strategic location, situated conveniently off the A71 highway. Guests appreciate the accessibility and ease of transition back onto the road, making it ideal for long journeys or en route to destinations like Spain or winter sports resorts. The quiet atmosphere, proximity to fueling options and easy-to-find entrance add to its appeal as a practical stopover location with hassle-free access.
The breakfast at the hotel consistently earns positive feedback for its hearty, varied and high-quality options. Guests frequently mention the reasonable cost for an extensive and tasty buffet. The bright breakfast room and outdoor terrace create a pleasant dining experience, contributing to a well-regarded amenity for early risers and travelers.
The dinner service, while featuring a limited menu, is generally appreciated for its simplicity and good value. Guests find the availability of on-site dining convenient with meals described as hearty and meeting French restaurant standards. Despite some mixed reviews and the restaurant being closed on Sundays, the dinner option is seen as both reliable and cost-effective.
Rooms at the hotel receive mixed reviews, noted for being small yet clean and functional. The convenience of ground-floor rooms with parking immediately outside is a significant plus, especially for road-trippers. While the decor is somewhat dated, this does not detract from the overall comfort with guests highlighting comfortable bedding and a quiet environment suitable for short stays.
The hotel excels in cleanliness with frequent praise for the well-maintained rooms and bathrooms. The emphasis on cleanliness across the premises, despite occasional suggestions for minor improvements, makes it a reliable choice for travelers.
The staff at Fasthotel Saint-Amand-Montrond Orval is a standout aspect, receiving consistent praise for their warmth, friendliness and professionalism. The attentive and responsive nature of the team creates a welcoming atmosphere, significantly enhancing the guest experience.
While the complimentary wifi could benefit from enhancements due to reports of weak and unreliable connections, the parking facilities are highly praised. Guests enjoy the convenience of parking directly in front of their rooms, which is particularly advantageous for easy loading and unloading of vehicles.
The comfort of the beds garners high marks with guests finding the mattresses firm and conducive to rest. Excellent quality and clean bedding further ensure a comfortable stay.
The hotel's accessible design, featuring single-storey accommodations and practical layout, is appreciated by guests with mobility needs, offering hassle-free access and ease of use for all visitors.
Moreover, Fasthotel Saint-Amand-Montrond Orval is dog-friendly, welcoming pets in both the breakfast and restaurant areas. Proximity to the highway and ground-floor room access make it especially convenient for travelers with pets, enhancing the overall experience for guests with dogs.
