Many reviewers find the breakfast to be excellent with high-quality products, generous servings, and beautiful sea views enhancing the dining experience. However, there are consistent concerns about the price, with many finding it to be rather expensive without matching the expectations for a 4-star hotel. Some guests feel that the breakfast could offer more variety and note that the selection is sometimes limited or the products are mediocre. The buffet was occasionally described as messy or basic, not meeting the high standards expected by some guests. Dining at the bodega is notably pleasant, whether for a relaxed lunch or dinner, with some evenings featuring a fun barbecue setup. The bar-restaurant is known for its very friendly staff, enhancing the dining atmosphere. However, there are occasional inconsistencies that diners may encounter. Some reviews suggest a need for greater variation between the lunch and dinner menus. Service speed and staff experience have also been points of contention, with some guests finding the service slow and chaotic. Some items, like the seafood platter, received negative feedback regarding taste and freshness, though other offerings like the oysters and red mullet fillet have been appreciated by several patrons. While some guests find the restaurant impeccably managed and correctly priced, others perceive it as somewhat expensive with limited choices. Overall, dining at Atlanthal promises a generally satisfying culinary experience, especially for those who appreciate good views and a friendly ambiance.

The proximity to the beach and the nice pool enhances the appeal of Atlanthal, making it a worthwhile destination for those eager to try out its celebrated thalasso and spa facilities.

Pool

The 'Atlanthal' offers a diverse pool experience that garners mixed reviews from its guests. The facilities include several pools, both outdoor and indoor, with a notable mention of a seawater pool and a stylish pool area. The outdoor pool, described as beautiful and pleasant with a good temperature, is a highlight for many visitors, despite some finding it small and occasionally crowded. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the swimming pool, steam room, and sauna contribute to the positive feedback. However, the need to pay extra for indoor pool access and certain closures have raised concerns among guests. There's a point of contention about the pool area rules being only in French, which some guests find limiting. The saltwater pool is appreciated, although there are comments about its temperature being colder than expected. The hotel's proximity to the ocean offers a stunning natural backdrop, enhancing the overall appeal. Compliments are frequently given to the integrated wellness center which includes a spa and hammam, accessible directly from the pool area. Despite some setbacks, most guests rate their stay as excellent, praising the top-notch staff and outstanding location with views of the sea.

Beach

Atlanthal boasts an enviable location with easy access to stunning beaches that are perfect for beach lovers and surfers alike. Situated in a quiet area, guests can enjoy the tranquility and direct access to the beautiful sandy stretches that define this coastal region. The proximity to the beach is one of the hotel's standout features, providing guests with the opportunity for leisurely strolls and long walks along grassy dunes or the picturesque promenade leading towards Biarritz. Guests have consistently noted the ease of parking at the accommodation, with plenty of spots available and the added benefit of free parking, making it a hassle-free experience for those arriving by car. For those who enjoy a scenic view, a room allocation with views of the large parking area can be arranged, although the restaurant view is preferred among visitors. The parking area is generally described as huge and sufficiently large to accommodate most visitors, ensuring that parking spaces are almost always available. However, while security is a feature with gated access, occasional issues with monitoring can lead to spaces being occupied by non-guests. Despite these minor inconveniences, the proximity of the parking to the hotel and the nearby beach adds a layer of accessibility, enhancing the overall convenience for guests driving to Atlanthal. While there are some remarks regarding the difficulty to find a parking spot at times, especially during peak periods, the majority of reviews emphasize the practicality and ample availability of parking solutions at the site, adding a positive note to the stay experience at Atlanthal.

Family

Atlanthal offers a family-friendly setting, making it an appealing choice for a weekend getaway with its ideal location just a short walk from the beach. Families can enjoy a safe and relaxing environment, enhanced by the attentive and compassionate staff, who provide thoughtful touches such as cradles, bathtubs, and bottle warmers for babies. The spacious and comfortable rooms cater to the needs of families, ensuring a pleasant stay. While the hotel is accommodating to pets, some guests have noted that the aquagym classes held in the lagoon can occasionally disrupt the tranquility due to loud music. Despite this minor drawback, the hotel's proximity to beaches, coupled with its pool and spa facilities, helps create a welcoming and enjoyable thalasso experience for families.

4 Star

Atlanthal promises a high-quality stay, attracting visitors with a four-star designation. However, feedback indicates that the hotel falls short in meeting the expected standards of a true four-star experience. Guests highlight that the rooms display only average quality and lack the attention to detail one would anticipate at this level. The hospitality tray in the room is minimal, suggesting a need for enhancement. While the hotel's environment arguably presents a four-star establishment, discrepancies appear in service and amenities. Guests note long waits for hot dishes due to staffing shortages, resulting in service challenges, particularly during breakfast, where the quality is perceived as inconsistent. Breakfast prices are regarded as excessive for the offerings provided. Furthermore, various services, including spa access, incur additional charges, creating a concern about value for money. The overall cost, when considering the overall experience, leaves guests questioning whether the prices are appropriate for a hotel marketed at such high standards. The feedback collectively suggests that while Atlanthal holds potential for a refined stay, actual execution reflects the qualities of a solid three-star hotel rather than the advertised four-star luxuries. Attention to service quality and room details could bridge the gap between promise and performance, enhancing the value for guests.

Outdoor Pool

Atlanthal's outdoor pool is often highlighted for its pleasant ambiance and agreeable temperature, providing a nice retreat for guests seeking relaxation. Described as a must-see feature of the establishment, the pool offers sea water, adding to its unique appeal. While the pool attracts positive attention, some guests note its small size and intermittent overcrowding. It lacks a direct sea view and may occasionally be unavailable, as it was reportedly closed for a couple of days during some stays. Despite these minor drawbacks, the outdoor pool remains a notable part of the hotel's amenities, supported by the presence of both indoor and outdoor options for swimming enthusiasts.

Luxury

Atlanthal is widely praised for its beautiful and luxurious setting, offering a high-end experience by the beach. The hotel is described as a very beautiful and well-maintained establishment, providing guests with a luxury location that many find appealing. However, some reviews suggest that the hotel does not fully meet the expectations of a four-star rating. While it is seen as a great hotel overall, a few guests noted that certain aspects did not align with the standards they anticipated, particularly in terms of modernity and amenities. Despite these critiques, the allure of its scenery and the general luxurious atmosphere contribute to an enjoyable stay for many visitors.

Beachfront

Atlanthal boasts an exceptional beachfront location, ideal for those seeking relaxation by the ocean. Nestled directly on a beautiful sandy beach, this exquisite hotel offers guests immediate access to a stunning lagoon. The establishment's positioning on the edge of the ocean provides breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Guests particularly appreciate the spacious rooms and the surrounding park, both of which enhance the overall beachside experience. Its perfect seaside situation makes Atlanthal a top choice for beachfront stays.
