Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center presents itself as a modern and affordable option with a sleek look and spacious public areas. The friendly and attentive staff, often highlighted by guests, contribute positively to the overall experience. The hotel offers convenient parking and clean facilities, driving home the feeling of good value for money.
However, many guests feel that the hotel doesn't fully live up to the standards expected of a four-star experience. Criticisms are largely directed at the room conditions, citing issues like excessively warm temperatures at night, lack of proper windows and signs of wear on the tiles, carpet and ventilation systems. Cleanliness has also been a point of contention with some guests noting that it does not meet their expectations for a four-star establishment.
Another recurring mention is the breakfast service, which, while featuring a wide range of options, is seen as mediocre by several guests. They suggest a bit more variety, especially in items like cheese and cold cuts, to better align with the four-star promise. The lack of a minibar and some basic amenities has also been pointed out as a shortfall.
Overall, while the hotel boasts some commendable features such as its modern design and hospitable staff, it appears to fall short in areas critical to maintaining a four-star status, including room quality, breakfast variety and essential amenities.
