Location

Aldwark Manor Estate is located in a stunning location with fabulous surroundings and beautiful views of the countryside and river. The hotel is situated in a separate building to the leisure facilities which adds to its charm. The location was outstanding and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Guests can enjoy the beautiful setting and location which is great for exploring the surrounding areas. There is easy driving to lots of great places and it is easy to get to Harrogate and York from the manor. The grounds of the hotel were fantastic and it is an amazing setting for a great stay. The location was excellent for Christmas markets, York in general and it is a quiet location however not far from York. Overall, guests loved the location of Aldwark Manor with beautiful grounds and a grand entrance.

Breakfast

Some guests enjoyed the huge portions and lovely menus that included mouth-watering items like black pudding and duck eggs, eggs Benedict and kippers. The hotel staff was very helpful as they helped a family carry their bags and children. Even though there was no fridge or safe in the family room, guests were still able to have a lovely and memorable stay. Families with toddlers were able to stay in the bunker which added to the excitement of the stay.
