Ferienpark Templin stands out for its commitment to accessibility, making it a favorable option for guests with disabilities. The concept centers around disabled-friendly accommodations, featuring generously sized rooms and large spacious floor apartments that are entirely barrier-free. Guests can appreciate the ease of accessibility to the thermal baths and nearby restaurants, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay without needing a car.
While the hotel offers many benefits, such as comfortable furnishings, a playground and a petting zoo for families, there are a few downsides. Some reviews point out issues such as moldy grout in the ground-level shower of the wheelchair accessible bathrooms and the challenging spiral staircase leading to bedrooms in one of the large apartments, which could pose difficulties for older guests. Additionally, the lack of mosquito screens on terrace doors may affect the comfort of the stay.
Despite these minor setbacks, the Ferienpark Templin’s dedication to ecological sustainability and excellent accessibility features make it a commendable choice for travelers with special needs.

Hotel Fährkrug is a charming establishment located by the serene Fährsee lake, offering guests a peaceful and relaxing stay surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have stunning lake views and the hotel is conveniently located near the lovely town of Templin. Breakfast is served in a pleasant restaurant or on the terrace with a good range of options available but opinions differ on its quality. The hotel's dinner offerings received mixed reviews with some finding them enjoyable while others were disappointed with the quality and presentation. Overall, the hotel could benefit from a renovation and the cleanliness is subject to mixed reviews. However, the staff at Hotel Fährkrug are highly praised for their attentive and friendly service.
