Many appreciate the excellent quality and abundance of the breakfast with phrases like "excellent breakfast," "delicious," "rich," "great breakfast," and "hearty breakfast" being common. The breakfast often exceeds expectations with its freshness and variety, including delicious croissants and vegan options.
However, some reviews suggest there is room for improvement. Guests have noted the lack of variety and limited selection with comments indicating that the breakfast menu often stays the same and can be a bit meager. There is also feedback about the need for more savory options, hot dishes and improved coffee quality. Some guests were disappointed by the disorganization and slow service in the breakfast room with occasional reports of inadequately replenished items and limited gluten-free options.
Despite these criticisms, the general consensus leans towards a satisfying breakfast experience with most guests praising its quality and abundance.
Dinner
Hotel Ariston & Apartments offers a memorable dining experience primarily characterized by high-quality and delicious food. Guests frequently commend the excellent cooking with several reviews noting that the meals are very delicious, featuring fresh products. Dinner, in particular, receives consistent praise for its quality and taste and both dinner and breakfast are generally well-regarded.
The dinner is usually well-executed with some appreciating the three-course meals plus dessert as being fully sufficient despite smaller portion sizes compared to some guests' standards. While the dinner menu might not offer an extensive selection, it is described as being accurately curated and overall satisfying.
However, a few guests felt that the dinner could be improved, particularly with regards to portion size relative to the half-board price and menu variety. Some noted that the evening meals could sometimes feel less than satisfactory or of a cafeteria quality. Additionally, a small number of reviews pointed out that the dining experience, including service, might feel somewhat professional but cold.
Breakfast at the hotel is served buffet-style and is often rated as good, though there is feedback indicating that not all dishes shown in promotional materials are available. Despite these minor critiques, most guests seem to leave with positive impressions of their culinary experiences at the hotel, highlighting excellent food and good dining as key features.

Guests reported a range of issues, including incorrect Wi-Fi passwords provided by the staff and limited data allowances, such as 5GB for a 4-day stay. The Wi-Fi is not free and requires guests to repeatedly obtain new codes from the reception, which can be quite inconvenient. Many reviews mention a bad or non-existent Wi-Fi connection, both in rooms and common areas. Additionally, attempts to access free Wi-Fi via Facebook login were unsuccessful for some guests. However, multiple reviews mention that the parking situation can be somewhat problematic. Some guests were not informed about the parking fees in advance, resulting in surprise charges of around 15 euros per night. The garage is described as small and tight, making it difficult to navigate and the signage could be better. Though the parking service is generally excellent, it is also noted as expensive.
For those seeking free parking, it’s necessary to find a spot in nearby streets, which can be challenging. There’s also the option to leave car keys with the staff to handle the parking for a fee. While the parking logistics are praised, the cost and limited space pose significant concerns for some guests. Overall, while the parking amenities are praised for their security and coverage, the expense and occasional inconvenience left some guests dissatisfied.
