Location
The Sebali Resort is a beautiful and peaceful haven, nestled in a tight valley with stunning views of the waterfall and river. It is far enough from Ubud central to provide tranquility, but still easily accessible with the hotel's free shuttle service or by hiring a scooter. The resort is surrounded by lush vegetation and rice fields, making it an ideal location to enjoy the true experience of the jungle. The villa-style accommodations offer a beautiful layout, resembling paradise and some overlook the river and waterfall. Despite being a little outside of Ubud, the resort provides a secluded and magical location to relax and unwind with nature sounds providing the perfect background ambiance. The free shuttle service into town works well, but taxis are also an affordable option. Overall, the stunning location in the heart of nature is what makes The Sebali Resort a memorable and unforgettable retreat.

Breakfast
The Sebali Resort offers a lovely breakfast experience with a great variety of delicious Indonesian and Western food. Guests can even enjoy breakfast in bed or a floating breakfast with a nice valley view. The Balinese menu at the restaurant is amazing, especially the Nasi Goreng, which many guests claim is the best in Ubud. Additionally, there is a complimentary morning walk tour with a guide and afternoon tea/coffee. Guests rave about the amazing spread of food and the large variety of options, including healthy breakfast choices and Balinese cakes. Although some guests mention a confusing breakfast menu or slow service, the staff is praised for being AMAZING and perfectly preparing the breakfast. Overall, guests highly recommend this resort for having the most beautiful staff and the best breakfast experience in Bali.

Dinner
The Sebali Resort offers a delicious dining experience with beautifully presented food, a huge menu and helpful staff who cater well to vegetarians. While there are limited western choices, the Indonesian and Balinese cuisine is exceptional. Guests have the option of dining at the great on-site restaurant, which serves delicious Balinese dishes, or ordering room service, though it is considered expensive and has limited options. The buffet dinner set up with a traditional Balinese dance is a unique and enjoyable experience. Some guests have suggested more menu options for those staying for longer periods of time. Despite a few minor issues with slow service and occasional nuisances with music and shows, overall the food and drink options at The Sebali Resort are great and well worth the visit.

Rooms
The Sebali Resort offers a stunning, luxurious experience for guests. Villas are clean and spacious with complimentary soft drinks and fruit. Private pool villas are especially spacious, clean and well-decorated. Rooms have breathtaking views and the staff is attentive and accommodating. Bedlinen could be improved, but overall, the rooms are comfortable with modern amenities like private infinity pools and robes and slippers. While some rooms may be loud due to nearby waterfalls, the villas are very private and serene. Although some rooms lacked certain amenities like separate shower separators, the hotel is properly cleaned and scented. However, some reviewers noted that certain aspects like the private pool balcony could use improvement and the hotel may be older and in need of some maintenance. Despite these small issues, guests rave about the beauty of the rooms and the overall luxury experience at The Sebali Resort.

Beds
Guests at The Sebali Resort have mixed opinions about the beds provided. While some reviews mention that the bed is a little firm, it is still considered very comfortable. Other guests have reported comfortable beds and a grand lit, adding to the luxury experience of the resort. However, some reviewers have noted that the beds were a little uncomfortable and the bed linen did not feel as luxurious. It is also unfortunate that some guests have encountered issues like squeaky beds and even ants in their bed, causing some sleeplessness. It is great that the hotel offers a comfortable and cozy corner in the room with a tout comfort bed, couch and salon chair for guests to relax in. Guests with different language preferences have also shared their reviews on the beds, emphasizing the importance of comfortable beds regardless of the language you speak. Overall, experiencing a good night's sleep at The Sebali Resort could be hit or miss depending on individual preferences and experiences.

Cleanliness
Guests at The Sebali Resort have raved about the cleanliness of the property. Villas and rooms were described as "really clean", "spacious, clean and well-decorated" and "very clean". With hygiene rated at 10/10, guests were impressed with the well-kept and organised facilities. Despite some reports of plastic waste around the property, guests noticed that the rooms and villas were properly cleaned and scented. The pool looking over the jungle was described as amazing and the massages were noted for their attentiveness. While some guests mentioned external cleanliness issues, overall, the hotel was praised for its cleanliness and beautiful property.

Staff
The staff at The Sebali Resort are truly incredible. Guests consistently praise the amazing and accommodating service provided by the friendly and professional staff who go above and beyond to make guests feel like honoured guests. From the moment of arrival, staff are warm and welcoming, always wearing a smile and going out of their way to meet guests' needs. Reviewers mention staff by name, expressing gratitude for their kindness and attentiveness. In addition to impeccable service, staff also offer thoughtful touches like flower arrangements, flower baths, welcome drinks and complimentary massages. The resort's driver, Yogi, is particularly praised for his kindness and professionalism. Overall, the hospitality and kindness of the staff are a standout feature of this resort, creating an environment that feels like home away from home.

Spa
If you're in need of some pampering, look no further than The Sebali Resort's stunning spa. The Be Blessed package offers a range of fantastic massages, all of which take place in the most relaxing of settings. With waterfalls running in the background, the spa is a must-visit during your stay. Guests have raved about the amazing healers, including Srina and her colleagues, who offer nothing short of a 5-star service. We particularly recommend the complimentary 10-minute massage, which is so good that many guests book a whole hour. Whether you opt for the flower bath and massage or the excellent holistic 90-minute massage, you won't be disappointed. The spa setting is simply beautiful with views overlooking the rainforest. While some guests have reported issues with the manicure procedure and equipment, on the whole, the spa service is of great quality. If you're looking for a relaxing and unforgettable spa experience, The Sebali Resort's spa is definitely one of the best out there.

Pool
If you're looking for a paradise-like stay in the heart of Bali, The Sebali Resort might be the perfect choice for you. The excellent facilities and stunning private infinity pool with a view of the jungle create a dreamlike atmosphere. While the weather can be unpredictable, the outdoor pool area is lovely to relax during the day. However, some guests mentioned that the main pool could have been cleaner and the noise from the waterfall during the rainy season can be a bit loud. The private pool in the room with a view of the river is amazing, but some commented that the cold water made it unusable during the colder seasons. Though a heated option would be nice, the temperature-controlled private pool is not available. The staff is attentive and accommodating and they amended bookings for guests affected by flight cancellations. If you're considering staying in a villa with a pool, be aware that the pools tend to be eiskalt (very cold). Despite this, visitors of The Sebali Resort recommend it as an ideal destination for travelers who want to unwind, relax and experience the beauty of Balinese life.

Private Pool
The Sebali Resort promises a natural-oriented resort experience which is highlighted by their stunning private infinity pools. The cabins are beautifully designed and feature their own private pools with great views of the jungle. Some rooms even have waterfalls by their private pools. However, some guests have mentioned that the private pool area can be a little too shaded and cold, so it's not always the perfect place to unwind. Despite this, guests have really enjoyed the experience of having their own private pool and soaking in them whilst enjoying floating breakfasts, rose petal baths or simply taking in the magnificent views. The resort also offers accommodation options that come with their own private pools such as villas, cabins and rooms.

Yoga
The Sebali Resort offers a unique yoga and healing experience for its guests. Despite some classes being cancelled due to weather, the private yoga and meditation classes with Putu were amazing. Guests had the opportunity to do a yoga class above the river with Putu and left feeling refreshed. The yoga teacher is professional, nice and gives respectful explanations on the benefits of yoga. Yoga is available on some days, along with the option to reserve activities such as hiking Mount Batur, massages, taxis and yoga. Overall, the yoga facilities and activities at The Sebali Resort receive positive reviews from guests.

Luxury
The Sebali Resort offers a fantastic luxurious experience that is definitely worth every penny. The resort is peaceful and embodies a natural-oriented atmosphere with beautiful cabins including private pools. Amenities are new and well-maintained. The luxurious facilities of the resort are exceptional and everything was top-notch. Despite being surrounded by nature, the resort is not lacking in any luxury. The property is beautiful and promises an unforgettable stay. Reviews describe the resort as truly luxurious and comparable to a 5-star hotel with both common areas and individual villas being bellissima or 'very beautiful.' The Sebali Resort is certainly a promising destination for those seeking a lavish vacation.

Romantic
The Sebali Resort is a unique and romantic destination that offers the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or a relaxing break. Guests rave about the resort's quiet and personal atmosphere which provides ample opportunities to immerse oneself in nature. Whether celebrating a honeymoon or simply looking to feel pampered, couples can expect a truly relaxing experience at the Sebali Resort. From private dinners complete with flower arrangements to floating breakfasts and infinity pools overlooking the lush jungle, this hotel offers a magic vacation environment with a plethora of amenities.
