It is a great location for spending a weekend with a group of people and has nice scenery around, located at the top of a hill. Guests are impressed with the hotel's magnificent location, stunning views from the rooms and its tyylikäs maisemahotelli and luksuksen tuntua pohjoisessa (stylish landscape hotel and a feeling of luxury in the north). The hotel is situated on the top of a hill and offers amazing views with easy slope access for skiers. The accommodation has a great location and a fantastic view. Guests can enjoy the proximity of good ski tracks and a beautiful natural environment with Iso-Syöteen maisemat ja luonto mahtava (Iso-Syöte's landscape and nature are magnificent). However, guests noted some issues, such as the lack of air conditioning and the slippery road leading to the hotel without gravel. Overall, Hotel Iso-Syöte has a loistava hotelli hienolla sijainnilla (great hotel with a beautiful location) and is a perfect choice for those who seek a peaceful retreat in the Lapland wilderness.

Hotel Iso-Syöte is a great choice if you're looking for a winter experience full of outdoor activities. The location is simply stunning, as it sits on top of a hill with beautiful views all around. You can easily hit the slopes and enjoy great skiing or snowboarding. The hotel is conveniently located near hiking and biking trails which start right from the parking lot. The snowmobile safari is a must-try, well executed and a lot of fun. The ski trails are well-maintained and there were no crowds in the slopes during our stay in early February. Some guests did complain about the lifts being frequently out of order. Even so, it was easy to access the slopes for hassle-free skiing and hiking trips. If you want to go kicksledding with your family, it's possible to rent these from the hotel. However, some guests found their rooms a bit minimalistic with a small table and only one chair. Overall, this hotel is perfect for those looking for an active winter break with plenty of winter activities right at your doorstep.
